Scooby Dooby Doo (Assignment)

 As a child, my absolute favorite cartoon character was Scooby Doo, the titular character of my favorite cartoon, Scooby Doo. I watched the show in its various iterations religiously, happily watching my favorite episodes over and over again, never getting tired of the repetition. I loved the funny way he talked--my dad and I still make jokes in a "Scooby" voice to this day. I was delighted by how cowardly he was while managing to always come out on top. I loved all the various forms of comedy he employed. Slap-stick, impressions, you name it, Scooby did it. And to top it all off, he was a lovable dog. What could be better than that? Everything about Scooby Doo made me happy, and that's all I could ever ask for.

Quarantine Haircuts for Dogs (Uncontrollable Laughter #4)

04-30-2020 If anyone talks to me long enough, they'll probably figure out I love dogs more than anything else. They're the best companions anyone could ask for, and as if that wasn't enough, they're absolutely adorable. Knowing this about me, one would expect I would naturally click on just about anything dog-related while I'm scrolling on my phone. The thing I happened to click on today, though, absolutely did me in, and it was a stupid Buzzfeed list, of all things. I don't know what it was about 15 Dogs Who Wished Their Owners Would've Just Waited To Take Them To A Groomer  that made me cackle all the way through, but whatever it was got into me and didn't leave until I scrolled past the final picture of a woman on the floor on her side with her shorn dog, desperately trying to make the poor dog look presentable. The Show Must Go On (Experience #7)

04-18-2020 If you haven't been living under a rock for the entirety of the year 2020, you've probably noticed that there is a massive pandemic shutting down entire countries, including ours. Naturally, this has led to the cancellation/postponement of almost everything requiring people to gather in-person, as it should be. However, if you recall my very first post on this blog, I talked about being in rehearsals for a show at TCU called Miss Molly . It was scheduled for performances on March 26 through March 29. Obviously, that didn't happen, but initially we believed we would come back to TCU on April 2 and pick up where we left off. The show was essentially ready to go on. The cast had all four acts memorized, the costumes were nearly completed, and the set was all but done. The department went ahead and rescheduled the dates of the show so that it would happen in April, no problem.
